2018 Muscle Walk of Omaha to be Presented by Meridian Clinical Research

Omaha, Neb., April 18, 2018 — This year’s Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA) Muscle Walk of Omaha is scheduled for May 5 at Miller’s Landing Rivers Edge State Park beginning at 9 a.m. Meridian Clinical Research is presenting sponsor and is matching every donation to the Muscle Walk up to a total of $7,500, until April 23. To register or donate, visit Meridian’s page on the MDA website.

The MDA is leading the fight to free individuals — and the families who love them — from the harm of muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and related diseases that take away physical strength, independence, and life. They are finding research breakthroughs across diseases, caring for kids and adults from day one and empowering families with services and support. Designated a “Top-Rated Charity” by the American Institute of Philanthropy, MDA is the first nonprofit to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Medical Association for “significant and lasting contributions to the health and welfare of humanity.”

“We are proud to be the presenting sponsor for this worthy event,” stated Nikki Osborn, Founder and CEO of Meridian. “Raising awareness and funds assists MDA in furthering their mission to help kids and adults live longer and grow stronger.”
