The chikungunya virus has now infected people in the U.S. The chikungunya virus is transmitted through the bite of infected mosquitoes, and can cause fever, headache, and severe joint and muscle pain. Meridian is conducting a clinical trial for an investigational chikungunya vaccine.

Eligible participants…

  • Must be age 18+ (19+ in Nebraska)
  • May receive compensation for time and travel
  • Do not need insurance to join this study
