The symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19 infection) and influenza are very similar — both can cause fatigue, headache, congestion or runny nose, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, diarrhea, and nausea or vomiting. If you are experiencing some of the symptoms of either COVID-19 or the flu, you may qualify for a study of a COVID-19 and flu rapid test that has been authorized for emergency use (EUA).
Eligible participants…
- Must be age 2 or older
- Must have experienced onset of AT LEAST ONE of these symptoms within the last 3 days:
- Fever or chills; Cough; Runny or stuffy nose; Sore throat; Muscle or body aches; Fatigue; Headache; Vomiting and diarrhea
- Will receive compensation for study-related time
- Do not need insurance to join this study
