While vaccines can provide protection against COVID-19 and even prevent severe illness, for certain populations – including those with immunodeficiencies – vaccines might not be enough.
Meridian is currently enrolling people with compromised immune systems for a study of an investigational COVID-19 prophylactic (prevention) medication.
Must be ages 18 and older
Must be moderate to severely immunocompromised: Must have a medical condition or be receiving treatments that may result in an immune compromise or an inadequate immune response to COVID-19 vaccination, including but not limited to malignant cancer treatments, organ transplant immunosuppressive therapy, stem cell transplant, moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency, and advanced or untreated HIV infection
Will receive compensation for study-related time

Is participation voluntary after I submit my information?
Yes. Participation in a study is entirely voluntary. In the informed consent process, you’ll learn about the product being studied, your role in the trial, potential side effects, tests that may be performed, and the number of visits that may be required. You will need to sign an informed consent form to join the study only after you fully understand your role in the study.
Will I get a physical exam?
If you join the study, you will receive a physical exam. You may also receive specific exams or tests — the results of which may be shared with you.
Will I receive compensation?
While participation in a clinical study is voluntary, you may be reimbursed for study-related time. After you submit your information, a Meridian enrollment specialist will call you to talk about the study. Staff at the research clinic will discuss possible reimbursement with you.
