Atopic dermatitis (AD), also known as eczema, is a common skin disorder. Symptoms can include flaky skin lesions and intense itching. An estimated 20% of children suffer from AD, which can unpredictably flare in adolescence and in adulthood.
Children with mild or moderate atopic dermatitis (a.k.a. eczema) may be eligible to join this research study to test a new drug for the condition. This study treatment is experimental, and you (or your child) will have a 1 in 3 chance to be part of the placebo arm of this study. Compensation is available for study related time and travel.
Eligible participants…
- Must be age 2 to 5
- Must have had a history of atopic dermatitis (eczema) for at least 6 weeks
