Measurement of heart rate (HR) plays a large role in the assessment of a person’s physical status. Meridian is conducting a study to assess the accuracy of a technology designed to measure heart rate using cameras found in commercially available smartphones to detect subtle changes that occur with each heartbeat.

Eligible participants…

  • Must be age 18+
  • Must have very dark or very light skin
  • May receive compensation for time and travel
  • Do not need insurance to join this study
