Infant Formula Study

Meridian is conducting a clinical research study for infant formula. In the study, some infants may be eligible to receive an investigational milk-based formula. The purpose of this study is to research how infants grow and tolerate an experimental milk-based formula with oligosaccharides compared to a control milk-based formula. Human milk oligosaccharides are provided to infants through human milk, and are associated with health benefits.

Eligible participants…

  • Must be a newborn age 0 to 14 days when joining
  • Must have weighed at least 5 lbs. 8oz. at birth
  • Must have been a singleton from a full-term birth (gestational age 37 to 42 weeks)
  • Do not need insurance to join this study
