Infant Formula Study

Now Enrolling

Cow’s milk allergy (CMA) is one of the most common food allergies in infants and young children, and if not adequately managed, can adversely impact growth and development. Formulas based on rice milk (known as hydrolyzed rice protein-based formula) have shown promise as an alternative to cow’s milk formula.

Meridian is now enrolling participants for a study of an investigational hydrolyzed rice-protein based formula for infants with persistent feeding intolerance symptoms, symptoms of suspected food protein allergy (milk and/or soy), or who are currently consuming an extensively hydrolyzed formula (EHF).

Eligible participants…

  • Must be 0-90 days old
  • Must be either: 1) experiencing symptoms of suspected food protein allergy (including diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, and/or spit up) OR 2) currently consuming an EHF (Alimentum© or Nutramigen©, or another commercially available EHF on the market) for a suspected food protein allergy or other feeding intolerance symptoms
  • Will receive up to 5 months of infant formula at no cost as part of this study
  • Will receive compensation for study-related time
  • Do not need insurance to join this study

For more information, complete the form on this page. After you submit your information, a Meridian enrollment specialist will call you to talk about the study. There is no obligation to join — you can decide if the study is right for your child.
