About This Research Study

Affecting more than 30,000 people every year in the U.S., Lyme disease (LD) is spread through tick bites. LD can cause a wide range of syndromes, from fever and joint and muscle pain, to arthritis, inflammation of the heart or brain, and other neurological issues if left untreated.

Meridian is currently enrolling children ages 5-17 for a study of an investigational Lyme disease vaccine.

Eligible participants…

  • Must be ages 5-17
  • Must not have received a tick bite within the past 4 weeks
  • Must not have been diagnosed with LD in the past 3 months
  • Will receive compensation for study-related time
  • Do not need insurance to join this study
