Children’s Meningococcal Vaccine Study

N meningitidis can cause serious, life-threatening meningococcal disease, which clinically presents as septicemia (infection of the bloodstream), meningitis, or both. The five common groups of bacteria that cause meningococcal disease are A, C, W, Y, and B. Although meningitis isn’t a common disease, once symptoms appear, they can progress rapidly. Meridian is conducting a research study for an investigational MenACYW vaccine.

Eligible participants…

  • Must be age 42 to 89 days old
  • Must NOT have received a previous vaccination against meningococcal disease
  • Will receive study-related care and exams at no cost
  • Do not need insurance to join this study
