DAKOTA DUNES – Omaha-based Meridian Clinical Research, LLC opened an independent research site in Dakota Dunes in August.
Meridian, a group of medical professionals dedicated to the advancement of clinical research, was founded 12 years ago.
The 2,000 square-foot Dakota Dunes office, 330 Dakota Dunes Boulevard Suite 400, is the group’s second research site and employs five people.
Meridian’s research programs are open to patients interested in gaining access to new drug treatments or participating in clinical trials. Workman said Meridian is currently conducting studies on Type II diabetes patients.
In addition to researching various medical conditions, Workman said studies are also conducted on various vaccines.
