About This Research Study
Influenza (flu) is an infectious disease characterized by the abrupt onset of respiratory and systemic symptoms, such as fever, cough, sore throat, and rhinitis. Research studies are crucial, especially for developing vaccines to protect children, seniors, and people with underlying medical conditions.
Most flu vaccines are generated in embryonated hens’ eggs or in cell lines. In this study, researchers are studying a whether an investigational mRNA vaccine could be an effective alternative to traditional flu vaccine approaches. Meridian is now seeking participants for this study.
