The Need for Eczema Research
Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a chronic skin condition characterized by flaky skin lesions and intense itching. Eczema is one of the most common skin conditions, and the disease typically involves flexural folds and/or the face, neck, upper arms, back, hands, and/or feet. The cause of eczema is not fully understood. An estimated 10% of adults and up to 20% of children suffer from eczema.
How to Participate in an Eczema Research Trial
Meridian has research sites nationwide that are conducting research studies in a wide range of therapeutic areas. New studies are added every week. You can help fight eczema by joining a study at Meridian.
Beyond helping advance medicine, you may also:
- Get care from a local doctor at no cost
- Receive study-related medical exams at no cost
- Get paid for participating (amounts differ for each study)
