An extremely viral illness spread by mosquitos, yellow fever is widespread in parts of Africa and South America, and can infect unvaccinated travelers. According to the CDC, about 15% of people who get yellow fever develop serious illness that can lead to bleeding, shock, organ failure, and sometimes death.

Meridian is conducting a clinical research study for an investigational vaccine intended to prevent yellow fever infection.

Eligible participants…

  • Must be age 18 to 60
  • Will receive an investigation yellow fever vaccine OR an FDA-approved yellow fever vaccine at no cost
  • Will receive compensation for study-related time
  • Do not need insurance to join this study
